Studying in Frankfurt’s American Studies program has turned out to be so much more than just about academics to me. It has given me the chance to build my own community, find people that inspire me and hold them close to my heart.

Are you searching for an opportunity to broaden your mind and study abroad? The B.A. American Studies may well be what you’re looking for.

The B.A. American Studies is taught entirely in English. While we recommend that you make use of the university’s German classes, it is not necessary for this degree.

As in all public German degree programs, there are no tuition fees for the B.A., apart from a small administrative charge. So you can use any funds you have set aside for covering living expenses. There are no grade barriers to enrollment for people with a high school (or equivalent) diplomas. You need to be able to show proficiency in English, though.

Studying at Goethe University comes with free healthcare, public transport in the region, and the ability to work both on and off campus.

Detailed information on enrolment regulations can be found here.
